Working Principle:

Thickening: When the innovative screw mechanism rotates, the dynamic moving rings around the central shaft engage in a synchronized dance, pressing out the majority of water from the thickening zone. This water gracefully descends into the filtrate tank, utilizing the power of gravity for efficient removal.
Dewatering: The journey of the thickened sludge continues as it advances from the thickening zone into the dewatering zone. As the screw shaft threads tighten progressively, the pressure within the filter chamber builds up exponentially. Combined with the force exerted by the back-pressure plate, this mechanism ensures the sludge is thoroughly pressed, resulting in dryer, compact sludge cakes.
Self-cleaning: The ingenious design allows moving rings to perpetually rotate up and down, driven by the active screw shaft. This constant motion cleanses the gaps between the fixed and moving rings, significantly reducing the clogging issues prevalent in traditional dewatering systems.

The MSP's (multi-plate screw press) dewatering section comprises a thickening and a dewatering zone, complemented by an internal pre-concentrating device within the flocculation tank. This versatile setup accommodates wastewater with low solid content, offering an impressive feed solids concentration range from 2000mg/L to 50000mg/L.

SLUDGE TRANSFER PUMP
The sludge residing in the storage tank is conveyed seamlessly to the metering tank through the efficient sludge conveying pump, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted flow.

FLOCCULATION MIXING TANK
Sludge is precisely metered into the flocculation mixing tank, with any excess being skillfully redirected back to the sludge storage tank by finely adjusting the water level for optimal balance.

BLENDER
Upon injecting the polymer flocculant, a transformative reaction occurs as it interacts with the sludge to form flocculant. This mixture is then seamlessly transported to the core of the screw, perpetuating the dewatering process.

SCREW CONCENTRATION PART
The sludge is channeled into the screw body, where it undergoes intense extrusion and dehydration. This process is powered by the potent extrusion pressure, a result of the varying screw diameter and pitch, ensuring maximum efficiency.

BACK PRESSURE PLATE DEHYDRATION
As the moving and fixed rings of the dehydration section come closer, the decement cake is effectively dehydrated by the back pressure plate. This results in the neat discharge of dense mud cakes.
