Working principle:

Thickening: As the exquisite dance of the rotating shaft drives the screw, the moving rings gracefully ascend and descend, pressing out most of the water from the thickening zone. This liberated water cascades elegantly into the filtrate tank, driven purely by the force of gravity.
Dewatering: The journey of the thickened sludge does not end at the thickening zone. It advances persistently towards the dewatering zone, where the magic of narrowing screw shaft threads compresses it further. This increasing pressure, combined with the might of the back-pressure plate, transforms the sludge into exceptionally dry cakes, showcasing superior efficiency.
Self-cleaning: Ingeniously designed moving rings perpetually rotate, guided by the dynamic screw shaft. This innovation cleanses the gaps between fixed and moving rings, ensuring the system remains clog-free-an issue that plagues traditional dewatering equipment.

The dewatering segment of the MSP (multi-plate screw press) is a marvel, integrating both thickening and dewatering zones. An innovative pre-concentrating device within the flocculation tank ensures that even wastewater with minimal solids poses no challenge. It boasts an impressive operational range for feed solids concentration, from as low as 2000mg/L to as high as 50000mg/L.

 

SLUDGE TRANSFER PUMP
From the reservoir of the sludge storage tank, the sludge is gracefully transported to the metering tank through an efficient sludge conveying pump.

 

FLOCCULATION MIXING TANK
The metered sludge finds its way to the flocculation mixing tank, where its journey is momentarily interrupted as the excess returns to the storage tank, regulated by a precise water level adjustment.

BLENDER
As the polymer flocculant is masterfully injected, it initiates a transformative reaction with the sludge, forming a robust flocculant which is then seamlessly conveyed to the core of the screw mechanism.

SCREW CONCENTRATION PART
Within the screw body, the sludge undergoes an intense metamorphosis as it is forcefully extruded and dehydrated by the formidable extrusion pressure, a result of the ingenious design variations in screw diameter and pitch.

BACK PRESSURE PLATE DEHYDRATION
In the dehydration section, the narrowing gap between the moving and fixed rings intensifies the process, resulting in the efficient dehydration of the decement cake by the back pressure plate, ultimately discharging the refined mud cake.
