Working principle:

Thickening: As the robust shaft is propelled by the screw, the dynamic interaction of the moving rings creates a relative motion around the shaft. This results in the effective expulsion of a significant amount of water from the thickening zone, which elegantly descends into the filtrate tank through gravitational pull.
Dewatering: The journey from the thickening zone to the dewatering zone is seamless as the thickened sludge is guided with precision. As the screw shaft's pitch becomes progressively narrower, the pressure within the filter chamber is ingeniously heightened. Coupled with the pressure exerted by the back-pressure plate, this mechanism ensures the sludge is thoroughly compressed, yielding drier and compact sludge cakes.
Self-cleaning: Ingeniously designed, the moving rings perpetually rotate in a dynamic up-and-down motion, driven by the energizing force of the screw shaft. This continuous motion meticulously cleans the gaps between the fixed and moving rings, effectively preventing the frequent clogging issues typically encountered with traditional dewatering equipment.

The dewatering section of the Multi-Plate Screw Press (MSP) is artfully divided into a thickening zone and a dewatering zone. Enhanced by an integral pre-concentrating device housed within the flocculation tank, this ingenious design effortlessly manages wastewater with low solids content. The MSP is adept at handling an impressively broad range of feed solids concentration, from as low as 2000mg/L to as high as 50000mg/L.

SLUDGE TRANSFER PUMP
The meticulously engineered sludge conveying pump efficiently channels the sludge from the storage tank to the metering tank with precision.

FLOCCULATION MIXING TANK
Through the precise art of metering, the sludge is gracefully transported to the flocculation mixing tank. Any remaining sludge is skillfully redirected back to the storage tank by expertly adjusting the water level.

BLENDER
The polymer flocculant is skillfully introduced, initiating a chemical reaction with the sludge that culminates in the formation of a cohesive flocculant. This formed flocculant is then seamlessly transported to the core of the screw mechanism.

SCREW CONCENTRATION PART
The sludge embarks on a transformative journey to the screw body, where it encounters intense extrusion forces. These forces are generated by the strategic alteration of the screw's diameter and pitch, ensuring the sludge is expertly pressed and dehydrated.

BACK PRESSURE PLATE DEHYDRATION
In the dehydration segment, the narrowing gap between the moving and fixed rings effectively compresses the decement cake. The back pressure plate further enhances dehydration, resulting in the efficient discharge of the mud cake.
