Working Principle:

Thickening: As the screw-driven shaft propels the moving rings up and down, the surrounding rings engage in an intricate dance. This dynamic movement efficiently presses out most of the water from the thickening zone. The liberated liquid cascades into the filtrate tank, driven by gravity's pull.
Dewatering: Progressively advancing from the thickening zone, the already-thickened sludge embarks on a journey towards the dewatering zone. With the screw shaft thread's pitch tightening, the pressure within the filter chamber escalates dramatically. Further intensified by the back-pressure plate, the sludge undergoes substantial compression, culminating in the formation of dry, compact sludge cakes.
Self-Cleaning: In a seamless operation, the moving rings perpetually rotate under the impetus of the running screw shaft. This motion ensures the gaps between the fixed and moving rings remain unclogged, addressing a common issue faced by traditional dewatering equipment.

The dewatering section of the MSP (Multi-Plate Screw Press) is ingeniously designed with both a thickening zone and a dewatering zone. This is complemented by a specialized pre-concentrating device situated within the flocculation tank. The MSP adeptly handles wastewater with low solids content, boasting an impressive feed solids concentration range of 2000mg/L to 50000mg/L.

Sludge Transfer Pump
From the sludge storage tank, a sludge conveying pump efficiently transports the sludge to the metering tank, ensuring a smooth and continuous flow.

Flocculation Mixing Tank
Within the flocculation mixing tank, sludge is systematically metered in, while the remaining portion is strategically returned to the sludge storage tank by modulating the water level.

Blender
A polymer flocculant is meticulously injected, initiating a reaction with the sludge. This interaction forms stable flocculant structures, which are then conveyed to the screw's main body for further processing.

Screw Concentration Part
Sludge is directed into the screw body, where it undergoes intense extrusion and dehydration. This is achieved through the powerful extrusion force generated by variations in screw diameter and pitch.

Back Pressure Plate Dehydration
In the dehydration section, the gap between the moving and fixed rings narrows. The back pressure plate plays a pivotal role in dehydrating the decement cake, efficiently discharging the resultant mud cake.
