Working principle:

Thickening: As the precision-engineered shaft is propelled by the screw, an intricate dance occurs between moving rings and the shaft itself. This dynamic motion allows most of the water to be efficiently pressed out within the thickening zone, elegantly cascading into the filtrate tank through the natural pull of gravity.
Dewatering: The journey of the thickened sludge is a relentless forward march from the thickening zone into the dewatering zone. Here, as the screw shaft thread's pitch progressively tightens, the pressure within the filter chamber soars to astounding heights. Coupled with the formidable force of the back-pressure plate, this confluence of pressures transforms sludge into exceptionally dry sludge cakes.
Self-cleaning: The perpetual rotation of the moving rings, driven by the ever-active screw shaft, keeps the gaps between fixed and moving rings pristinely clear and clog-free. This innovative self-cleaning mechanism stands in sharp contrast to the frequent blockages that plague conventional dewatering systems.

The MSP's (multi-plate screw press) dewatering segment boasts a dual-zone system comprising both a thickening and a dewatering zone. Further enhanced by an internal pre-concentrating device within the flocculation tank, it seamlessly handles wastewater with lower solids content. Its adaptability is evident in its impressive feed solids concentration range from 2000mg/L to an astonishing 50000mg/L.

SLUDGE TRANSFER PUMP
The sludge residing in the storage tank embarks on a smooth journey to the metering tank, skillfully transported by the reliable sludge conveying pump.

FLOCCULATION MIXING TANK
Through precision metering, sludge makes its way to the flocculation mixing tank. Here, the journey doesn't end, as any remaining sludge is delicately redirected back to the storage tank via precise water level adjustments.

BLENDER
The polymer flocculant is artfully introduced, where it reacts with the sludge to craft flocculant. This newly formed flocculant then embarks on its path to the main body of the screw, ready for the next stage of transformation.

SCREW CONCENTRATION PART
Upon arrival at the screw body, the sludge is subjected to intense extrusion pressures—thanks to the strategic variance in screw diameter and pitch—ensuring optimal dehydration.

BACK PRESSURE PLATE DEHYDRATION
Within the dehydration section, the space between the moving and fixed rings narrows. The back pressure plate ensures that the decement cake is skillfully dehydrated, culminating in the release of a neatly compacted mud cake.
