Working Principle:

Thickening: With the ingenious design of the moving rings around the rotating screw shaft, most water is efficiently extracted in the thickening zone. The water, drained off by gravity, seamlessly trickles into the filtrate tank, enhancing the dewatering process.
Dewatering: As the thickened sludge advances from the thickening zone to the dewatering zone, the screw shaft's pitch narrows, intensifying the chamber's pressure, complemented by the back-pressure plate. This synergy results in highly compressed and drier sludge cakes, optimizing waste management.
Self-Cleaning: The continuous rotation of the moving rings, driven by the screw shaft, ensures that the gaps between the fixed and moving rings are perpetually cleaned. This innovative feature eliminates the frequent clogging issues seen in traditional dewatering systems.

The dewatering section of the MSP (Multi-Plate Screw Press) is a marvel, effectively comprising a thickening and a dewatering zone. With a specialized pre-concentrating device within the flocculation tank, MSP handles wastewater with low solids content effortlessly. Its feed solids concentration versatility spans a remarkable range of 2000mg/L to 50000mg/L.

SLUDGE TRANSFER PUMP
The sludge, resting in the storage tank, is efficiently transported to the metering tank by the sludge conveying pump, ensuring seamless flow for further processing.

FLOCCULATION MIXING TANK
Metered sludge is directed to the flocculation mixing tank. Here, precise adjustments in water level allow excess sludge to be smartly redirected to the storage tank, optimizing resource use.

BLENDER
Polymer flocculant is meticulously injected, interacting with the sludge to form a robust flocculant. This mixture is then advanced to the screw's main body, ready for efficient processing.

SCREW CONCENTRATION PART
Within the screw body, the sludge is subjected to intense extrusion and dehydration pressures. This is achieved through strategic variations in the screw's diameter and pitch, ensuring optimal dehydration.

BACK PRESSURE PLATE DEHYDRATION
The dehydration part sees the gap between the moving and fixed rings narrowing. This facilitates the back-pressure plate's ability to dehydrate the cake efficiently, culminating in the discharge of well-formed mud cakes.
