Working principle:

Thickening: As the screw shaft spins, the surrounding moving rings elegantly glide up and down, creating a dynamic dance of precision. This movement ensures that most water is artfully extracted from the thickening zone, cascading gracefully into the filtrate tank with the aid of gravity.
Dewatering: The journey from the thickening zone to the dewatering zone is one of transformation. Here, the shaft's thread pitch tightens progressively, escalating pressure within the filter chamber. Coupled with the strategic force from the back-pressure plate, the sludge undergoes intense compression, resulting in the formation of drier, robust sludge cakes.
Self-cleaning: The moving rings engage in a perpetual cycle of rotation, powered by the screw shaft's motion. This constant movement ensures the gaps between the fixed and moving rings remain clear and efficient, eliminating the frequent clogging issues that plague traditional dewatering systems.

The MSP (multi-plate screw press) is engineered with a sophisticated two-zone system comprising a thickening and dewatering zone, enhanced by a pre-concentrating device within the flocculation tank. This allows it to handle wastewater with low solids content effortlessly, boasting a remarkable feed solids concentration range of 2000mg/L to 50000mg/L.

SLUDGE TRANSFER PUMP
Efficiently transporting sludge from the storage tank to the metering tank is the task of the robust sludge conveying pump.

FLOCCULATION MIXING TANK
Through precise metering, sludge makes its way to the flocculation mixing tank, while any excess is skillfully redirected back to the storage tank by adjusting the water level.

BLENDER
The sophisticated injection of polymer flocculant incites a chemical reaction with the sludge, forming flocculant entities that are seamlessly transported to the main screw body for further processing.

SCREW CONCENTRATION PART
Once in the screw body, the sludge experiences powerful extrusion pressure due to the varying screw diameter and pitch, resulting in effective dehydration.

BACK PRESSURE PLATE DEHYDRATION
As the gap between the moving and fixed rings narrows in the dehydration segment, the back pressure plate expertly dehydrates the decement cake, culminating in the release of a neatly compacted mud cake.
