120 m³/h paper wastewater treatment process

1. Design capacity
According to the information and drainage requirements provided by the factory, the total treated water is 120 m³/h. 115m³/h of the total treated water is pre-treated. After treatment, it will be reused, and the remaining 5 m³/h will be discharged after complete treatment. Therefore, the design pretreatment capacity is 120m³/h, followed by processing capacity is 5 m³/h.

3. Process selection and introduction
3.1 Technological process

The pretreatment unit consists of grille net, coagulation air float and regulating tank. Larger floats and suspended solids will be removed by bar screen. And then, waste water will go into dissolved air flotation tank (DAF) by lift pump. DAF machine could remove SS and some organic pollutions to reduce the concentration of COD and SS.

After the waste water was treated by DAF machine, it divided into two parts. 115 m³/h waste water through by sand filter and then flow into water recycle tank. Because the water after air flotation still contains high content of organic matter.

 

An aeration system is installed in the clear water tank to prevent decay and deodorization. Another 5 m³/h water flow into balance tank. The aeration tank is set up to prevent the precipitation of suspended particles in water and the generation of fetor. And then, flow into UASB and  contact with oxidation biochemical treatment parts. After the biochemical treatment, waste water will flow into clean water tank and discharge.

Sludge is discharged into the sludge concentration tank for concentration. And then sludge will be dewatering by plate and frame press filter.
