Working principle:

Thickening: As the shaft powers the screw into motion, the moving rings surrounding the shaft elegantly glide up and down. This graceful motion results in the extraction of water from the thickening zone, which then smoothly descends into the filtrate tank, harnessing the power of gravity.
Dewatering: In its journey from the thickening zone, the enriched sludge is continuously propelled toward the sophisticated dewatering zone. Here, the screw shaft’s pitch ingeniously narrows, expertly intensifying the pressure within the filter chamber. Coupled with the force from the back-pressure plate, the sludge is expertly compressed, yielding exquisitely dry sludge cakes.
Self-cleaning: The dynamic rotation of the moving rings, driven by the screw shaft’s momentum, ensures a pristine cleaning process. This action maintains clear gaps between the fixed and moving rings, effortlessly preventing blockages commonly seen in traditional dewatering systems.

The MSP (multi-plate screw press) dewatering component is ingeniously designed with both a thickening and a dewatering zone. Additionally, it boasts a unique pre-concentrating device integrated within the flocculation tank, making it adept at handling wastewater with low solids content. This technology accommodates an impressive feed solids concentration range from 2000mg/L to a robust 50000mg/L.

SLUDGE TRANSFER PUMP
From the depths of the sludge storage tank, the sludge is efficiently transported to the metering tank, courtesy of the precise sludge conveying pump.

FLOCCULATION MIXING TANK
Precision metering delivers sludge to the flocculation mixing tank, while excess sludge gracefully returns to the storage tank, fine-tuned by adjusting the water level.

BLENDER
The polymer flocculant is skillfully infused, allowing the sludge to react and form flocculant, which is seamlessly directed to the main body of the screw.

SCREW CONCENTRATION PART
Delivered to the screw body, the sludge undergoes a powerful extrusion and dehydration process, driven by the varying diameter and pitch of the screw, ensuring optimal results.

BACK PRESSURE PLATE DEHYDRATION
Within the dehydration section, the narrowing gap between the moving and fixed rings, combined with the back pressure plate, effectively dehydrates the decement cake, culminating in the discharge of the mud cake.
