Disc filter consists of a center drum, a turntable, a backwashing system and a supporting control and electrical system. The turntable is fixed around the center drum and has connecting holes with the center drum. Raw water (sewage) flows into the drum from the opening at one end of the center drum and enters into the turntable through the connecting holes, and the two sides of the turntable are equipped with filter cloth, which is made of stainless steel or polyester wire and has a minimum filter pore size of 10 μm. After the raw water is filtered through the filter cloth, the fresh water flows out of the filter cloth and is discharged from the filtered water outlet out of the system. As filtration proceeds, the filter cloth inside the retained impurities continue to increase, the filter pressure difference increases, the amount of water through the filter cloth decreases. When impurities accumulate to a certain extent, the center drum level reaches a set value, need to backwash, the filter cloth inside the accumulation of impurities backwash out. The backwashing pump extracts the water through the filter cloth and sprays it onto the outside of the filter cloth to rinse down the retained impurities on the inside of the filter cloth, and the rinsed sewage falls into the catch pan and is then discharged out of the unit. Backwashing when the turntable rotates, backwashing water sprayed at different angles of the filter cloth, until the turntable rotates for a week, the filter cloth all through the cleaning, backwashing stops, re-entering the static filtration process, until backwashing again.
