Working principle:

Thickening: As the shaft is elegantly driven by the screw, the moving rings surrounding it engage in a graceful dance, shifting up and down relative to one another. This harmonious movement forces most of the water to be pressed out from the thickening zone, cascading downwards into the filtrate tank due to the gentle pull of gravity.
Dewatering: The thickened sludge embarks on a seamless journey from the thickening zone to the dewatering zone. Here, as the pitch of the screw shaft thread gradually narrows, the pressure in the filter chamber intensifies. Coupled with the back-pressure plate's formidable force, this results in the sludge being compressed significantly, producing drier and more compact sludge cakes.
Self-cleaning: The moving rings perpetually rotate in an up-and-down motion, propelled by the active screw shaft. This dynamic movement keeps the gaps between the fixed and moving rings pristine, effectively preventing the frequent clogs commonly associated with traditional dewatering equipment.

The dewatering segment of the MSP (multi-plate screw press) is ingeniously divided into a thickening zone and a dewatering zone. Augmenting its efficiency, a specialized pre-concentrating device is seamlessly integrated within the flocculation tank. This innovation enables the MSP to proficiently manage wastewater even with minimal solids content, making it adaptable to a remarkably broad range of feed solids concentrations, from 2000mg/L to an impressive 50000mg/L.

SLUDGE TRANSFER PUMP
In a fluid dance of engineering prowess, the sludge residing within the storage tank is deftly transported to the metering tank by the reliable sludge conveying pump.

FLOCCULATION MIXING TANK
The sludge, precisely metered, is ushered into the flocculation mixing tank. Here, any remaining sludge is thoughtfully redirected to the storage tank by skillfully adjusting the water level.

BLENDER
The polymer flocculant is artfully injected, prompting the sludge to engage in a chemical waltz with the polymer. This interaction forms flocculant, which is then seamlessly conveyed to the main body of the screw for further processing.

SCREW CONCENTRATION PART
The sludge makes its way to the screw body, where it's subjected to an intense extrusion and dehydration process. This is achieved through the powerful extrusion pressure generated by the strategic alteration in the screw diameter and pitch.

BACK PRESSURE PLATE DEHYDRATION
The narrowing gap between the moving and fixed rings in the dehydration zone allows the back pressure plate to work its magic, thoroughly dehydrating the decement cake and efficiently releasing the mud cake.
